كشفت مصادر عن حقيقة الرسالة المتداولة عن صدور تعديلات على نظام الجنسية لمواليد المملكة، وآلية منحها للمرأة الأجنبية المتزوجة من مواطن سعودي.
وأكدت المصادر لم يصدر أي تعديل جديد بخصوص تجنيس المواليد ، وأنه في حال صدور أي توجيهات سيتم الإعلان عنها وفق الآلية المتبعة.
وأوضحت أن الرسالة المتداولة بهذا الشأن تعود لعام 2007، التي شهدت صدور تعديلات على نظام الجنسية حول آلية منح الجنسية السعودية للمرأة الأجنبية المتزوجة من سعودي أو أرملة السعودي الأجنبية.
